IEEE SSCI 2020

The IEEE Computational Intelligence Society is happy to announce Conference Registration Grants for IEEE SSCI 2020.

Applications deadline: 4th of October 2020

We are offering reduced registration cost awards to authors of accepted IEEE SSCI 2020 papers who are graduate students, young professionals, or professionals from developing countries.

Eligibility:

  • You need to be:
    1. A student or graduate student or young professional (from any country), or
    2. A researcher at any career stage (ONLY from a developing country).
  • You must have an accepted paper at IEEE SSCI 2020;
  • You need to be IEEE-CIS member (if you are only an IEEE and not a CIS member, you are not eligible);
  • You should register and pay for attending IEEE SSCI as normal.

If an applicant is awarded a grant, they will receive their money post the event once the conditions of the scholarship are satisfied.

Grants for Student Authors

Each paper at IEEE SSCI must have a full registration. If the full registration is paid for a student paper, the remaining students on the paper who are IEEE CIS student members are eligible to apply for a free registration.

The application should include:

  • Student full name,
  • A proof of the IEEE CIS membership,
  • List of accepted papers,
  • A proof that a full registration has been paid for the paper by another author,
  • A photocopy of the student’s ID card and/or a letter of proof that the student enrolment is current at an academic institution.

Applications from eligible students should be sent to Dr Saber Elsayed at s.elsayed@unsw.edu.au no later than 17:00 AEST Thursday 1st of October 2020.
