THE CANBERRA CAMPUS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW SOUTH WALES IS LOCATED AT THE AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE FORCE ACADEMY (ADFA).

Since the initial partnership forged between the Australian Department of Defence and the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 1967 – followed by the formation of the Australian Defence Force Academy in 1986 – the school’s courses have attracted enrolments from government and defence officials across the Indo-Pacific. UNSW is ranked 48 in the world (QS World University Rankings, 2014-2015). Further, Canberra is ranked as the best city in the world to live in by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
